The Blue Metro line consists of two main routes that connect to the existing Red and Green lines.
- First Route: Begins atAl Jaddaf at the Creek Interchange Station on the Green Line, crosses DubaiCreek via a 1.3 km bridge and passes through new stations at DubaiFestival City, Dubai Creek Harbour and Ras Al Khor, before reaching DubaiInternational City 1. This route continues to Dubai InternationalCity 2 and 3, ending at Dubai Silicon Oasis and Academic City. This route covers 21 km and has 10 stations.

- Dubai Creek Harbour Station: This iconic station will have a striking architectural design to match the surrounding modern residential and commercial towers.
- International City Underground Station: At 44,000 square meters, this will be the largest underground transfer station in the network, designed to handle about 350,000 passengers daily.
Long-term benefits

- Reduced Traffic Congestion: The project will reduce traffic congestion on the routes by 20%.
- Property Value Increase: Land and property values near the stations are expected to increase by 25%.
- Passenger numbers: The Blue Metro Line is expected to carry 200,000 passengers per day by 2030, rising to 320,000 per day a decade later.
